To say that this music is a series of one miracle after another is only the beginning of the story. Sarah's love for people and her understanding of how the challenges of life can leave lasting imprints on their hearts is clearly conveyed in her music. Each composition tells its own story, and amazingly, the various melodies ring in unity of their own accord.
Sarah's childhood training in cello laid the foundation for the future music that she would write. Throughout her years in college, medical school and on into her medical practice, there they were, her cello and the music, following her like faithful friends. The busyness of her life in no way detracted from the cry of her heart to come back to the music. A few years ago, Sarah started writing down some of the music that she constantly hears in her head. She feels strongly compelled to share with others the incredible beauty of what God has gifted her with....a glimpse of heavenly music. Her desire is that others can partake in the joy and peace of the music.
Sarah currently lives in San Diego, CA where she works in cancer research at the prestigous The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) in La Jolla. Her desire is to help suffering people and her work in cancer research certainly provides much hope in the midst of this devastating killer of life.
For Sarah, the music is constantly looking for another avenue to express itself and so she composes onward to new heights. She is currently working on a violin/harp concerto, a viola/piano concerto and another string quartet CD. So stay tuned for more heavenly music!
